This bustling Christmas Market is located in and around the Museum's historic buildings, with over 130 stands selling arts, crafts, food, unusual gifts and much more, you will be able to browse and buy at your leisure.

As well as the craft and trade stands, there will be hot chestnuts to ward off the winter chill, and other tasty seasonal treats to sample and buy, including a delicious hog roast and festive music around the site. Visitors will also enjoy meeting the Museum's working horses and visiting donkeys that will be on site throughout the weekend.

 

The Weald and Downland Open Air Museum is situated 7 miles north of Chichester, West Sussex on the A286.

From the north take the A286 signposted to Chichester. From the west or east approaching on the A27 enter Chichester and take the A286 north to Midhurst. By bus

The museum is served by Stagecoach Coastline buses on the number 60 route between Bognor Regis, Chichester, Midhurst, Haslemere and Guildford. Call 0845 1210170 for details or visit their website. Stagecoach Coastline customers can benefit from a 20% discount on standard entry to the Museum*. Customers must present their bus ticket, valid on day of purchase only, to entry staff. By train

The nearest rail station is Chichester 7 miles to the south of the Museum. Trains from London Victoria, Gatwick Airport, Brighton and Portsmouth pass through Chichester. Trains from London Waterloo station pass through Haslemere rail station, 14 miles north of the Museum. For timetable information contact Network Rail.
